Move it Monday

It is Monday and I have quarantined my family for weeks now in fear of the flu! We have not gone anywhere (other than school because we have to). I have been working out at home and getting creative with my workouts. My 6 year old and 4 year old (and even 2 year old) are all very interested in working out with me. Between building legos, painting and play dough, and building train tracks…..everyone is working out and burning off some energy before it warms up enough to go outside. I make their own little obstacle courses to keep them busy with me while I get a good workout into my daily routine.

5 minute warm up including 1 minute of each: high knees, butt kicks, jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climbers.

I completed three rounds:

  • 2 minutes of running in place (or outside)
  • 25 weighted squat thrusts
  • 25 pushups
  • 25 box jumps
  • 25 tricep dips
  • 25 frog jumps
  • 25 walking lunges
  • 25 bear crawls
